HR & ADMIN ASSISTANT (Melaka – Ayer Keroh) (Click for details)
Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to handle foreign workers affairs (e.g. hostel’s management, work permit renewal, passport renewal, foreign workers’ welfare and discipline)..
  • Assist Head of department/production supervisor in handling of HR issues related to all workers.
  • Active participation in HR related activities including employees’ training and development, employees’ induction program, employees’ welfare, employees’ discipline and domestic inquiry.
  • Responsible for the general welfare and health of all employees.
  • Assist in the investigation of accidents which has happened in the workplace.

PACKAGING ENGINEER - 2 vacancies (Click for details)
Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage complete packaging development process, including the creation of packaging designs, prototype development, and performance testing.
  • Works in a manufacturing environment in compliance with the Quality System Regulation (QSR), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and applicable Work Instructions.
  • Analyze engineering drawings and specifications of product to determine physical characteristics of item, special handling, environmental and safety requirements, and types of materials required for packaging.
  • Establish standards and guidelines for supplier evaluation. Evaluate and select packaging suppliers/vendors; periodically conduct vendor reviews.
  • Identify and implement cost saving initiatives related to packaging materials, labor, efficiency, transportation, and storage.
  • Studies operations sequence, material flow, functional statements, organization charts, and project information to determine worker functions and responsibilities.
  • Able to use various types of measuring instruments including numerous types of gages, micrometers, calipers, comparators, etc. for testing and data collection purposes.
Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (accredited institution) in Packaging Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in food manufacturing environment.
  • Technical expertise in packaging design, manufacturing processes and/or machinery required. Strong troubleshooting skills and cross functional leadership are a key skill for this role.
  • Demonstrated experience and skills with plant maintenance, food safety and GMP, problem solving and continuous improvement techniques.
  • Expert Knowledge in 3D CAD software,PLC Programming and HMI Programming.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overall plant management effectiveness.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (ELECTRICAL/ MECHANICAL) (Click for details)
Responsibilities:

  • Provides maintenance service and technical support for existing machinery and new development projects in the Company so as to minimize breakdowns and loss of production time.
  • Execute pre-planned maintenance service for manufacturing equipment to achieve optimal performance.
  • Assist in machinery breakdown and product quality issues troubleshooting and implementation of countermeasure actions to remedy such issues.
  • Carry out planned preventive maintenance, daily checklist and proper housekeeping.
  • Responsible to upkeep machinery and documentation.
  • Carried out 5S and machine cleaning regularly to keep a high level of cleanliness.
  • To troubleshoot and repair machines and electrical appliances breakdowns promptly. Under urgent cases, the technician shall be required to work outside normal hours.
